Russian gas become cheaper for Armenia, not for Armenians

The price for the natural gas  that Russia's Gazprom exports to Armenia will be lowered from the present $190 to $165 per 1000 cubic meters, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said last week. "This price allows us also to make investments in the reconstruction and modernization of the gas-supply system," he stressed.

Fitch Ratings downgrades Armenia

The international ratings agency Fitch has downgraded Armenia's long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings from BB-to B+, the rating outlook is stable.  "The issue ratings on Armenia's senior unsecured foreign and local currency bonds are also downgraded to B+ from BB-.
